Pet-Ag has decided to discontinue the Frequent Buyer Program. Taking care of animals in need has always been and will continue to be of the utmost importance to the team at Pet-Ag. However, over the past few years, interest in the current Frequent Buyer Program has decreased. We will look for new ways to engage our loyal customers so that they can continue their important work of providing great nutritional options for dogs and cats.

We do not recommend you ever use any of our products past the expiration date. Be sure to check the date in the store before purchasing any nutritional supplement or pet food.

The Federal Trade Commission requires that all ingredients in a product be sourced within the United States in order to make the claim "Made in the USA." While we do our best to source everything from the USA, there are some ingredients that are simply too difficult to acquire locally. We obtain these ingredients from trusted sources internationally. We manufacture all of our products in the Midwest.

Milk Nutritional Supplements

We recommend using a shaker bottle, if possible, but a bowl and a whisk may also be used.

After opening KMR®, Esbilac®, or Goat’s Milk Esbilac®, Goat’s Milk Kitten® powder they may be stored at room temperature for up to 2 months and then must be refrigerated. (up to 1 additional month).

A volume/measure/part is any measuring device you use. It can be a teaspoon, a tablespoon, or even a cup. The idea simply put is that for every one volume/measure/part (teaspoon, tablespoon, cup) of powder you use, you need to mix in two volumes/measures/parts using the same measuring device of water. For example, if you want to make 2 tablespoons of liquid milk replacer, you will mix 1 tablespoon of powder with 2 tablespoons of water.

We recommend that a puppy or kitten is fed 2 tablespoons of ready to serve liquid or 2 tablespoons of reconstituted powder milk replacer for every 4 ounces of body weight in a 24-hour period. So, for example, if your puppy weighs 8 ounces that would mean he needs to eat 4 tablespoons of formula throughout the course of one day.

Each of our PetAg formulas are designed for species specific nutritional needs so they are not interchangeable.

When you read the Guaranteed Analysis on a can of liquid milk replacer and a can of powder milk replacer you are reading values for the product in that particular can. The guarantees for powdered milk replacers are much higher because the numbers listed are without water added. If you look at the values for moisture, you’ll notice that the moisture level on the can of ready-to-serve liquid is much higher than on the can of powder. Once you have added your 2 parts water to the powder the fat and protein levels will match those in the liquid.

No. This is a treat for kittens 8 weeks of age and older but is not a meal replacement and is not nutritionally sufficient.

No. Milk Replacers are perishable products that are high in fat and protein that have a live probiotic included as well. If a formula appears spoiled in any way, it should NEVER be fed to an animal.

We don’t recommend you keep open liquid milk replacer in the refrigerator for more than 72 hours to avoid bacterial growth in the milk. This growth occurs simply by way of being exposed to the open air. The immune system and gastro-intestinal tract of a young animal is extremely sensitive, and you wouldn’t want to jeopardize it by feeding a formula that has been sitting in your refrigerator for weeks. Be safe and feed the animal fresh product.

Other Supplement Products

BENE-BAC

Bene-Bac is a probiotic supplement that contains 7 strains of live bacteria commonly found in the digestive tract of mammals to offer digestive support and help sustain a healthy bacterial balance in the gut.

Both the Bene-Bac gel and powder have the same probiotic strains and same colony forming units per gram. Both products are equally effective, we just wanted to offer multiple forms to give the caregiver the chance to personalize it for use.

Bene-Bac plus gel or powder may be given to any age of animal including newborn to senior.

No, both Bene-Bac gel and powder do not require refrigeration after opening, Please store in a cool dry place according to directions.

DYNE & Dyne PRO HG

Dyne contains a common ingredient called propylene glycol. Propylene glycol is an emulsifier and controls the microbial growth within the product. This ingredient, in large quantities, has been shown to cause red blood cell abnormalities in cats. We would recommend our high calorie gel for cats as an alternative!

Yes, Dyne can help supplement senior dogs in need of additional calories.

Yes, Dyne is safe for both a nursing or pregnant mother dog.

No, we do not recommend Dyne be refrigerated as this could lead to separation due to the soybean oil base. Please store in a cool, dry place.

Dyne can be fed to puppies 8 weeks of age and older.

Dyne can help support a dog recovering from malnourishment as it is high in calories in low volume amounts. The concentrated calories do not limit stomach capacity for a dog’s normal diet.

Dyne Pro HG contains pre and probiotics, our classic form of Dyne does not.

Dyne supports performance, endurance, and all-day energy for working or highly active dogs. Dyne provides pregnant and lactating dogs with important nutrients necessary for a healthy pregnancy and recovery, and Dyne can help provide support in gaining lost weight.

Yes, Dyne PRO HG is also safe for senior dogs.
