Dog approved but ingredient sourcing is not listed on jar I have a little 10# dog who has mild patellar luxation. I dealt with this with my last toy poodle and he ended up having a lot of trouble in his senior years. For that reason, I started giving her joint mobility supplements when she was 7 years old. None of the supplements I have tried have shown any noticeable improvement in the luxation at this point, and I don't really expect them to. My hope is that it will keep her movement comfortable into old age.This jar of PetAg chews arrived well sealed and they are a relatively firm chew. This means they are not likely to crumble in shipping like I have experienced with other brands, which leaves a pile of crumbs in the bottom of the jar. I don't find the smell unpleasant and my little dog thinks they taste great! She has been on these for about 2 weeks with no adverse reaction. I haven't seen any change in her knees but as I said I don't expect to see the effect until she is older and at an age to begin developing arthritis.I have used the PetAg brand for years and trust the brand, but I would like to see more transparency on the label regarding the country or countries of origin. I try not to knowingly give edibles made in China, but I am taking a chance on these and hope the company is doing their due diligence to keep our babies safe.

Good help for aging dogs. Green lipped is a must try. I like these.The thing is, companies that use the green lipped muscle are raising prices. The prior company which I used, went overboard and jacked the price too high. So I will never use that brand and advise others to do the same. I understand profit; I don't understand trying to retire from selling 10,000 units. And I do not believe everything fits neatly under the "supply chain" umbrella excuse.But for the green lipped muscle element, this is a good aide for dogs with mobility or joint soreness/stiffness in dogs due to aging. I started him early on a green lipped variety and will use it until he leaves the Earth. But whom I choose to buy it from is for the seller to wow me with value/performance.I have tried many - many suppliments since that prior company jacked their prices up (near 50%), so alternatives do exist. I have found that many of the green lipped muscle suppliments help equally well.If combined with other ingredients (especially turmeric and fish oil), I found that as the most effective combo.They don't contain enough for a large dog such as mine. This small container will hold about 11.25 doses (45 chews ÷ 4 chews per day for his size of over 75 lbs).There are options for a person to consider about dosage; you would have to use your imagination here.I add this info because I truly believe it helps to have some amount of this for the dog's sake.But this is a good supplement with condroitan and glucosamine combined with the green lipped muscle.It will be a help I'm confident. If your dog hasn't taken it before, I would go with the initial loading dose schedule.

While I typically share a tiny dose of the human supplements, this is a great round up of the top ingredients for mobility in a convenient form.The squares are small at just under 3/4 inch across and they will crumble. I have a toy breed dog, so I break a tiny piece to give him. While this smells like dog food to me, and oddly not at all like the green mussels it is is supposed to contain, he was curious from the moment I opened the container, and eats it readily. No side effects observed (including no trigger of seizures in him - as he reacts to certain supplements or treats). I will continue to give these to help with body support and stiffness.
